Port Potomac's Central Park
From the pool veranda behind the community center, a central park carpeted with lush green grass and decorated with lavish landscaping leads to a grand amphitheater. This is a focal point of Port Potomac, a gathering place to walk to for summer concerts and other fun under the sun and stars.
The Potomac Shops
A small village must have a central place where you can pick up some of the necessities of life without having to get in your car. The Potomac Shops, within walking distance of your home, will attract you with conveniences like a coffee shop, drycleaner, daycare, and a general store.
Trail System
At Port Potomac a community-wide network of asphalt paved trails and neighborhood parks will connect the community center, central park, amphitheater, and the Potomac Shops to the residences.
Parks & Ponds
There is a large pond at the community entrance as well as small ponds throughout the landscape of Port Potomac and Powell's Creek to the South connects with the scenic Potomac shore just one mile away. Besides the central park, there is also an abundance of natural green space buffering Powell's Creek and large open space bisecting the community to provide visual and recreational enhancement.
